Reporting an incorrect figure
If a calculation disagrees with your pay stub, tell us the state, the tax year, your filing status and pay frequency, the figure the calculator produced and the figure you expected. That is usually enough to reproduce it. If a city or county tax is missing, send the jurisdiction name and a link to the ordinance or the local tax collector's rate page.
What we cannot help with
We cannot advise on your personal tax situation, contact your employer on your behalf, or resolve a dispute about pay you believe you are owed. For unpaid wages or overtime, your state labour department and the US Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division are the right first calls.
